Jenny Luu |  Makeup + Hair Styling Artist

Hi there! Thank you so much for being here. It’s so exciting and I can not wait to chat with you!

I am a lover of all things beauty and weddings. It is such an incredible feeling being able to help my clients feel so confident and look their very best for the past 11 years. It is more than just doing your hair and makeup, it’s an experience. Us having fun getting to know each other, working together to create your ideal style and being there when you need beauty and skincare advice. I strive on educating my clients on proper skincare and maintenance as it is important in achieving flawless results. I always say, skin first and makeup second.

Clients often ask me how I got into doing hair and makeup. Well, I was always naturally drawn to beauty and skincare at a very young age but never pursued it.  I felt that I had to follow the typical path in life, school then the corporate world. I spent most of my life in corporate and knew it was not where I belonged. It took me awhile but 11 years ago, I became a licensed aesthetician, makeup artist and along the way, a licensed cosmetologist (while still working in corporate).  It is so amazing to be doing something in life that I am so deeply passionate about.  Seeing how my clients feel so beautiful, confident, trusting my artistic abilities and loving the results from my skincare advice is why I love what I do.

On a personal level, I am a wife and mama to four {two are furry} • there’s never a dull moment in our household • Trying hard to add color to my all black wardrobe • Shoes, handbags and doritos are my weakness  • Happy when my house is clean and with my kids, can quickly be flipped upside down  • A bit addicted to buying beauty products

When I am not working with a bride on her wedding day, I am usually catching up on emails, running a ton of errands before the kids get out of school, squeezing in yoga, catching up in life, in the studio doing a bridal trial or engagement session, on location for an event or photo shoot, or making sure I am always staying on top of the latest in the hair and makeup industry.
